Senior Sales (Hedge Funds / Financial Institutions) M/F
Based in Paris

As part of a high-performing market intelligence & data modelling team, you will leverage your experience and network to sell value-added API data solutions to international hedge funds and financial institutions. Reporting to the VP Market Intelligence & Data Modelling, you will develop a global commercial strategy, aligned with the overall vision and ambitions for future growth. And, you will have significant synergies with the global sales team, to optimize commercial ideas and successfully build a new customer base.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, business, and/or other related areas;
  • Solid knowledge of the world of hedge funds / financial institutions (systematic trading
    strategy, discretionary or hybrid trading strategy).
  • Keen interest in commodities, freight and macro economy in general.
  • Ability to pitch “use cases” to demonstrate the value and not just data.
  • Proven success and significant experience selling high value solutions
  • Experience of commodity trading could be interesting for this role.
  • Good understanding and ability to interpret fundamental data to explain commodity and freight
    price movements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, out-going, client sensitive, commercial acumen, open-minded, results
    oriented, rigorous, a true team player with the ability to take the lead and influence.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Open to travel … (London / Geneva / New York / Singapore/ Hong Kong…)
  • Office-based in Paris
