Freefoam is the leading manufacturer of a wide range of innovative uPVC fascia and soffit products, also producing gutter systems, external cladding and interior paneling for the building industry in several countries.

Brands such as Freefoam®, Fortex®, Freeflow®, Plastops®, among others, are synonymous with innovation, design and versatility, adding style and definition to residential and commercial buildings. Since trading began in Cork, Ireland in 1990, Freefoam has grown into an international group, operating from multiple sites across Ireland, the UK, Belgium, France and Germany.

In order to further develop the French market and expand the Freefoam presence in France, the Freefoam Groupwould like to recruit a permanent employee for the position of :

Sales Director France (M/F)
Ideally based in North France (fully remote)

Reporting to the CEO of Freefoam Group in Ireland, you will lead the sales function in France, and manage strategic planning, negotiation, and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, to achieve sales targets and expand the business. This role requires regular contact with our Sales Employees, Agents, and customers in France, and close interaction with the headquarters in Cork, Ireland, and the Sales and Customer Service Office in Roeselare, Belgium.

In this role, your key responsibilities will be :

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for strategic customers in France.
  • Negotiate prices, margins, contracts to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Sales Strategy & Market Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain, develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets in France.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for sales and partnerships.
  • Monitor competitors’ products, pricing, and market trends in France.
  • Provide regular reports (sales performance, market developments, customer feedback).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote Freefoam’s products.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Work closely with the internal and external sales team in France and other departments to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability.
  • Ensure effective follow through of the full sales cycle, in collaboration with the France sales office (Roeselare),
  • Guarantee compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and road traffic legislation.

 

Desired Profile :

  • Graduate of university or business school in, Business, Sales or Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid commercial experience and proven success managing strategic key accounts, preferably in the building products industry or similar industries in France or wider Europe.
  • Highly motivated, with proven ability to deliver results, meet targets, and drive sales growth.
  • Knowledge of plastics manufacturing, extrusion, or related industries is advantageous
  • Proven ability to motivate, unite and drive the sales teams and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Open to frequent travel within France and other regions as required
  • Full clean French driving licence 
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Competent in analysing sales data, market trends, and financial reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluency in French and English is essential, additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
